Riddle me, riddle dee. RIDDLE!

So I want to make a riddle thread This isn't necessarily a game, per se, but more of a thinking thing that is more complex as to counting 1 to 100 Well here is the rules, I post a riddle the next person tries to guess and people keep guessing until they get the right answer. Then, the person who got it right, will make the next riddle and so on. Here is the first riddle

" Two sons and two fathers went on a fishing trip. All of them caught one fish. In the end, there was a total of three fish. ow is this possible?!'

P.S. This can also be a discussion about some very tricky riddles

P.P.S. I know this is a easy one but I don't want to start with a oh-my-gosh-that-is-so-hard-I-might-even-implode riddle...yet

@Linku Nope I forgot one important detail " They didn't eat any of the fish that they caught nor had they sold it. They all got one fish and kept it" C'mon Linku it's not supposed to be THAT simple. This is a riddle remember where "You should expect the unexpected"

@Linku OK. No eating as well Don't just think of how it got lower, think of the relations of the sons and fathers and put it together

Well you said All of them caught one fish. you didnt say each of them so all of them can be 2 fathers and a son caught the fish or 2 sons and a father caught 3 fish Etc.
